Arts and culture sector is developing very fast. New needs for professional skills and further education appear constantly. TAKU, Trade Union for Arts and Culture Professionals, wants to support its' members’ professional development and therefore TAKU awards a grant for education.
The support for education aims at professional development
Learning new skills and updating the competences secure the future’s career. TAKU’s members can apply support for courses in open university, summer university or in open university of applied sciences for example. It is also possible to use the support for professional literature, networking events or professional seminars.
Application time for the academic year 2024-2025 is in September
The application period is from 1st to 30th September 2024 and the applications should be directed to the academic year 2024-2025. The maximum amount of support is 500 euros/ member/ year.
The support is applied for using this form, which must be filled in with the purpose of the grant, the reasons and the desired amount. Please do not write your name or contact information in the actual application text, because the applications are evaluated anonymously.
The decisions will be made in October. All the applicants will receive personal announcement after the decisions.
TAKU will ask a short free-form reportage on how the grant was used. Reportage time is in August 2025
Please note, this education support is not available to TAKU's student members. (Reminder: Students working on a thesis can apply for TAKUtuki support in spring.)
