The data of the salary survey for arts and culture professionals have been published
The survey tells that the salary level of arts and culture professionals corresponds to the Finnish median. However, attention is drawn to the low salary level compared to those with higher education in different fields, as well as to the large differences between different sectors within the field.
The review investigated different factors influencing salary and salary development, differences between different sectors and, among other things, the payment of overtime and travel allowances.
The survey addressed at TAKU members was conducted in September 2022. 752 TAKU’s members responded to the survey which gained a response rate of 23%. The survey can be considered very representative of the entire membership.
Questions that required closer examination and development emerged - but also issues that are already relatively well established in the field.
