Your unemployment fund is being renewed!

The current Unemployment Fund for Higher Educated Employees (Erko), and The Unemployment Fund for Education and Science (OT) will form a joint on 1 January 2026. The new unemployment fund is called Ote.

The change does not require any action from you, and will not cause any changes to your unemployment insurance or benefit payments.

Please note, however, that due to the merger, there will be an outage in Erko's digital services from 23 to 31 December 2025. Applying for daily allowance is not possible during the outage.
