Leisure accident and passenger insurance will be transferred to LähiTapiola on Jan 1, 2025

The leisure travel and accident insurance that protects TAKU members will be transferred to LähiTapiola from January 1, 2025. The corresponding previous insurance for all members of Akava's Special Sectors is valid until 31 December 2024 at 00:00 (local time).

Passenger insurance

Through passenger insurance, you get compensation for e.g. when you get sick while on vacation at home or abroad. The insurance provides security not only for the insured himself, but also for children under 16 years of age and grandchildren traveling with him.

The insurance covers the treatment costs of an illness that starts on the trip and an accident that occurs without an upper limit in euros. The insurance is valid for domestic and international trips for a maximum of 45 days from the start of the trip.

Luggage and travel liability insurance

Baggage insurance compensates for unexpected and unforeseen damage to the goods that were brought along during the trip. Luggage insurance also includes travel liability insurance and travel rights insurance. The insurance is valid for domestic and foreign trips for a maximum of 45 days from the start of the trip.

Accident insurance

Accident insurance is valid all over the world and up to the age of 80. The insurance covers the treatment costs of the accident and the insurance also includes compensation for permanent damage caused by the accident.
