Updated Salary Recommendations for Cultural Production Graduates
The "operational level" salary category has been discontinued, and the demanding specialist and management levels have been separated into their own categories. The new job responsibility levels are now aligned with the recommendations for university degree holders: specialist level, demanding specialist level, and management level. This change means the recommendations better reflect the responsibilities, complexity, and expertise required in the roles of those with a degree in cultural production.
Updated Employment Terms Apply to Those Working in the Private Sector
The employment terms recommendation by TAKU and Akava Special Branches applies to employees working in private sector companies, organizations, associations, foundations, and other entities in the arts and culture sector. The recommendations answer many basic employment questions. For example, evening and night work bonuses and on-call hours are now taken into account more closely than before.
