Organization structure

TAKU ry is one of the 23 independent member organizations of Akava Special Branches, and thus belongs to the academic salaried persons’ central organization Akava.

The annual meetings of TAKU

The highest decision-making organ at TAKU are annual meetings that takes place twice a year, which are open for all of our members. The meetings take place each spring and autumn, and this is noted in TAKU’s magazine, newsletter and email.

TAKU board

In the autumn’s annual meeting, including a chairman, eight members and three deputies. The board will include people representing TAKU’s membership as extensively as possible.

Executive branch and other positions of trust

TAKU’s executive branch (chair, deputy chair and executive leader) prepare the matters presented for board meetings. The shop stewards report to TAKU board regarding the matters decided and discussed at negotiation units and working groups.
