Membership and your services

When you become a member of Art and Culture Professionals’ Trade Union TAKU, and thus also our parent organization Akava Special Branches, you will obtain a vast variety of services and benefits for both your professional activities and your leisure time. Most of the membership benefits will be available to you right after you join us, whether you're a salaried member or a student member. If you become a member as a sole proprietor, you will be able to utilize all our membership benefits apart from unemployment security. If you have been temporarily excused from membership fees due to unemployment, parental leave or some other reason, your membership benefits and your entitlement to membership services will nevertheless be maintained as they are.
