Helsinki Art Institutions
for Equality

Major Helsinki art institutions have come together to build strategies for ensuring diversity, anti-racism, gender equality, sustainability and labor rights in their practices, writes Frame Contemporary Art Finland.
The joint effort of several Helsinki-based art institutions enable long term plans for equality, decolonization and sustainability in their organizational practices.
The new platform supports the existing networks and creates new ones. It shares the strategies of each participant and is a starting point for further development, inviting more members and spreading the information for wider audience within the art field and around it.

Gallery Huuto, Helsinki Festival, Photographic Artists’ Association / Photographic Gallery Hippolyte, Dance House Helsinki, Cupore and Zodiak – Center for New Dance will publish their work on a later date.
