Digital learning developer with a visual touch, If Academy, Espoo

We expect

We are now looking for someone to complement our newly founded small digital team. Ideally, this person has visual talent, i.e. good skills in graphical design, video, animation and/or 3D, or "bringing static content to life". He/she is also able to do learning design, do information processing for learning design purposes, script writing (or at least editing) and is able to use e-learning software (or be ready to learn it technically), as well as use a learning management system. In other words, a well-rounded profile in digital learning but with an emphasis in visual talent.


Our customers are the leaders and employees who drive Ifs insurance business. We expect you to be a person with extreme customer focus, a concrete ‘doer’ who understands the realities of the insurance business model and the needs from the business side, but who can also challenge the business in a constructive way to ensure maximum competence development.


You are keen to enhance all competence related initiatives through a wide and varied use of digital tools. For you, the focus is always on the customer perspective, and you are keen to find ways to produce the best delivery for very varied needs. For this, you have good understanding of business strategy and the business needs.


You are a keen team player, you want to share and learn from your colleagues. You are concrete and result oriented, willing and eager to sit down and build digital competence solutions yourself. You are intrinsically motivated and proactive in your efforts to enhance competence development in If.


The main working language will be English and it is integral that you are fluent in both speaking and writing and comfortable in working predominantly in English.


We offer

We offer an exciting possibility to ‘carve your role’ as the third team member of the new “digital hub” that currently consists of 2 digital learning developers.  Our aim with the hub is to lift digital learning more to the center of competence development, and to systemize the offerings and deliveries across the company. All the members of the hub will report to the leader of If Academy and be part of the internal competence unit and HR.
